Congratulations to Caleb Charland, who has been awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant for 2016. He will also be included in a group show at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College, entitled Touch the Sky: Art and Astronomy. The exhibition runs April 29 – August 21, 2016.

ARTIST NEWS: POLLOCK-KRASNER GRANTS FOR MCDONOUGH AND OSINSKI
We are pleased to announce that Paul McDonough has been selected to receive a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. McDonough will use the grant to develop a new body of studio work. Christine Osinski was also awarded a grant from the Foundation earlier this year to complete a book featuring her Staten Island photographs.
INTRODUCING: CHRISTOPHER RODRIGUEZ
We are pleased to announce that Christopher Rodriguez has joined the gallery. Originally from New Orleans, Rodriguez earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University before going on to receive his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His monograph, Sublime Cultivation, was published in 2014 and a solo show of this work, Between Artifice and the Sublime, will be on view at the gallery from October 28, 2015.

ARTIST NEWS: MUSEUM ACQUISITIONS AND ZUBER AWARD FOR ADAM KATSEFF
Adam Katseff’s work has recently been acquired by the Nelson-Atkins Museum. Additionally, a piece by Katseff is being included in the upcoming show Tahoe: A Visual History opening at the Nevada Museum of Art on August 22, after which the museum will acquire the piece. We are also thrilled that Katseff has been announced as the winner of the INFOCUS Sidney Zuber Photography Award. As part of the win, his work will be displayed for up to two months at the Phoenix Art Museum and he will also be honored at a reception at the museum on May 20, 2015.

The gallery recently wrapped up a successful art fair season, in which we attended Miami Project, Art on Paper and The Association of International Photography Art Dealers show at the Park Avenue Armory . We featured new work by Adam Katseff, Caleb Charland and McNair Evans, all of whom enjoyed good press and sales.

Elinor Carucci: The Effect of Motherhood will be on view at Condé Nast Gallery from May 11. This solo show of Carucci’s work will combine photography with editorial stories and run through the end of June. There will be a Q&A with Joanna Milter and Elinor Carucci, and a book signing of Carucci’s most recent publication, Mother, on Wednesday 27th May, 6-8pm. RSVP to attend.
