Christopher Rodriguez
Originally from New Orleans, Christopher Rodriguez earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University before going on to receive his MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His work has been shown at Transmitter Gallery, the Newspace Center for Photography, Montclair Art Museum and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, among others. Recently, his images have been featured in the Humble Arts Foundation, Wired and the Huffington Post, and he was named a finalist in What is a Portrait? curated by Ruben San-Miguel. His first published monograph, Sublime Cultivation, is held at the Newspace Center of Photography Library and is also offered at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. Rodriguez attended the summer 2015 Wassaic Artist Residency, and he currently resides in Brooklyn.
